Leading the engineering team to design, build, and scale the codebase and infrastructure underpinning Climate X 's ability to deliver climate-related risk data and analytics.
Hi, I'm Aatish – a client-facing Analytics Specialist and Solutions Architect. Since 2013, I have worked closely with clients across a number of sectors, undertaking roles in Quantitative Analysis, Data Science, Analytics Engineering and Cyber Security.
Having started out my career in Wealth Management, my own introduction to Artificial Intelligence (AI) was entirely incidental. As I moved from role to role, I began to recognise a pattern between my various projects: the requirement to collect and process voluminous quantities of data.
For my clients - ranging from the older and more traditional industries to small start-ups at the edge of disruption - finding a way to analyse this data had become critical. And so I turned to Artificial Intelligence - not a new technology by any means - but one that had made great strides in recent times, thanks to a drastic increase in consumer-level computational power and the easy availability of vast swathes of data.
It was here I found a surprise development: the technology I had chosen was just one of many new data-driven technologies powering what the World Economic Forum (WEF) termed the 'Fourth Industrial Revolution'. This new and impending era of smart 'cyber-physical systems' was to be defined by industries including genome editing, biometrics, renewable energy, autonomous vehicles, 3D printing, the Internet of Things - and at the heart of it all - Artificial Intelligence.
Since the WEF's announcement, AI has only continued to exert its dominance in underpinning the world's smart systems. Today, as it becomes increasingly clear that AI is here to stay, stakeholders in industry, business and wider society are fully embracing the technology. But before they can take off, these stakeholders will have many questions that need answering. How do I get started? Where will it be effective? What data do I use? How much does it cost? How safe is it?
As 'The AI Guy', my mission is to help democratise AI, and bring a logical approach to advanced analytics for my clients. Whether that involves a better understanding of your data landscape, a roadmap for securely implementing AI, or the creation of a cost-effective & scalable architecture, my aim is to at least get you to the AI launchpad.
Together, we can negate the complexities surrounding AI and harness the power of this incredible technology to benefit you, your business, and those that rely most on the services you provide.
Aatish was a great colleague to work with; providing insight, expertise, subject-matter knowledge, polished publications, and most importantly humour. His commitment to go above and beyond not only improved the quality of the products we were working on, but also the people around him.
Aatish is a skilled, enthusiastic professional that I had the pleasure of working with at Accenture. He is innovative, dependable, and the attention he gives to clients is personable and thorough. It will be a thrill to see his company grow, and I highly recommend him.
Aatish's can-do attitude was extremely positive. He took time to understand the problem space from a business perspective first, communicating clearly with the client, before applying his methods of data sourcing, sampling, classification, enrichment, cleansing and modelling.
Aatish's analytical mindset, attention to detail and meticulous knowledge of data and AI made him a true asset to the team. He was able to rapidly grasp the client's requirements, and to provide a comprehensive evaluation of their current security provisions.
Aatish is very trustworthy and consistently demonstrates strong leadership qualities. He was responsible for explaining complex concepts at a high-level to students, and adapting his methodology when members of the class encountered difficulty. We felt very much taken care of.
